ONE WORD - STURGIS, BABY! OKAY, TWO WORDS.

TUESDAY!   STURGIS BABY!  That’s right, the 2011 Riding4Beer Part Duh Tour rolled into Sturgis today and we’re here until Friday.  Okay, technically we’re in Rapid City, South Dakota, but that’s because we’re too cheap (read our sponsors are too cheap) to pay $400 a night to stay at the Motel 6 in Sturgis.  aNYWAY, Rapid City is just a few miles away, and besides, they don’t call it “Rapid” for nothing!

We’re at the same motel we stayed at a few years ago (they didn't recognize us!) and that’s where the “Rapid” part comes in.  Within 15 minutes of checking in we had three different  " female cosmotology students working their way through school” in hot pants, fishnet stockings and 6” heels offering to “check out” out room.  Folks, even for us, THAT’S RAPID!  We got their numbers and will call 'em later for a waxing.

So here’s the deal.  After a week on the road, we did our laundry at the local coin-op, we picked up some much needed supplies at Walmart and now we’re set!  Tomorrow we’ll spend the day at Sturgis buying cheap sh*t we don’t need and getting a new tire for the bike.  Thursday we’ll do the same (except for the tire – DUH!) and roll outta here on Friday.  Every night we’ll spend drinking with 500,000 bikers in the largest bars in the world (serving 50,000 at a time – NOT KIDDING!).  Folks, the next few days will be UNBELIEVABLE, so check it out…

NO PICS TODAY - BUT VIDEOS?  WE GOT THREE OF THEM BY POPULAR REQUEST!

Save $20!  Watch this video instead of waiting in line in your car to see stone presidents!

Keystone City, South Dakota - Still FIFTY miles from Sturgis!

The final 10 miles into Sturgis on any given afternoon!

It was like so nice meeting you two last night! I had soooo much fun (even though you guys wouldn’t let me use the wax)! I just wanted you to know I like took your advice, and went to the hard-wear store this morning. I had like a really hard time finding the store though… I think the “B” like fell off the building. Anyway, the cashier was like soooooo nice! I asked him what aisle the Hitachamacallit thing was in… oh, I can’t remember the whole name, but I have the paper in my purse somewhere… anyway, he was like really helpful! He said they didn’t sell these in his store, but he would take me to the store where they sold them. And, he like offered to give me a personal demonstration of how to use it! What amazing service! Before I left, I told the manager that I thought they had the nicest cashiers in Blowes!
