SATURDAY!    WHOA NELLIE!   Folks, after yesterday’s Beijing shopping crowds, and last night’s Beijing you know what, we’re ready to just find a quiet club with a few simple live sex acts, have a few beers and relax!  This is one big busy smoggy city, but we love it and we love that you can buy anything – ANYTHING! – anytime!  Most of what we paid for last  night we can’t even mention here on RIDING4Beer®, but we know you all have big imaginations so think your absolute worst.  During the day though, we pushed and shoved our way on buses, through subways, around market stalls and up and down 10 story shopping buildings just to buy 50 cent lighters with pictures of Mao and one dollar t-shirts that say “I LOVE BJ” (Beijing) for our friends back home.

Folks, Beijing may be the most polluted city in the world, but that’s a plus in our book.  The air pollution here is so bad that you NEVER see the sun – EVER!  Everyday is dark gray and overcast from a mixture of sulfur-dioxide spewed from factory smoke stacks and cars burning leaded gasoline.  Also the sand particles blowing in from the Gobi Desert 500 miles north adds to the general daytime darkness.   But here’s the good part - the always gray skies block the glare of the sun and you save needing SPF-anything!  Likewise, we like to think the chemicals in the air kill any and all living organisms, which in China there are millions since EVERYONE (even grannies) constantly spit and never cover their mouths when coughing or sneezing.

Oh, and another positive thing about ruining the environment – Global Warming!  Hey, we love it because that means we don’t have to lug around jackets or sweaters – even at night!  Al Gore is way off base saying Global Warming will destroy the earth.  Maybe it’ll destroy the ski parka industry, but who wants to go skiing when it’s 90 degrees and smoggy anyway?  Folks, you know the old saying, “when life deals you lemons…yada, yada, yada” – well we say, “when life deals you sulfur-dioxide, enjoy the warm shade and find a good strip club with cold beer!
