WENESDAY!    Stand up and cheer for HUMP DAY, stand up and cheer for the Riding4Beer® 2011 China Tour making it to Beijing and lay down and cheer for… well you know.  Folks, this is it – the big BIG time!  We’re in Beijing, China along with over 20 million of our closest Chinese commie friends.  If you think size matters, (and you should because technique is just an excuse!) then Beijing is the place to be.  There are more people in this one city than in the bottom twenty populated states combined (take that Nebraska and Wyoming and, and, and….)!

Anyway, we’re digging in here in old Peking and we’re also celebrating a first for any Riding4Beer® tour.  We’re staying at a hostel we’ve stayed at once before (even if we did have to use fictitious names so they wouldn’t remember us!).  That’s right, in 2008 on the Budweiser Around the World Tour we came through Beijing and spent a few days at the Leo Hostel in a back alley Hutong and we’re staying here again.  And guess what?  They still haven’t changed the sheets, the toilet (squat) still hasn’t been flushed and the front desk girls still offer squeezers for 5 Yuan after their shifts.  WE LOVE THIS PLACE!

Don’t think just because we’re in the capital of China and have logged tens of thousands of miles the past few months that the tour is over.  It’s FAR from f’ing over!  There’s so much trouble to get into in this city that we can’t wait to get started.  Look, the Chinese internet police have yet to isolate our internet address and block it (because we keep moving every few days) and the warrant for our arrest two weeks ago in Yangshuo is bogus (and we could beat it in the World Court any day).  There’s not only Harley dealership here (the only one in Asia), there’s also a Hooters (the first in Asia), free Chinese porn on channel 18 after midnight (it really has to seen AND heard to appreciate it) and literally thousands of massage parlors that offer happy endings as part of the base price.   Okay, buckle up and let’s get started!
