TUESDAY!    This is it folks – our work here in Chengdu is done and it’s time for the Riding4Beer® 2011 China Tour to take on the big time – BEIJING, BABY!  Oh, yea, we’re talkin’ the biggest collection of Commies in the world!  Over 20 million of those Chinese Red Flag waving folks live there, and to put that in perspective, that’s twice the size of Los Angeles, bigger than most western European countries and more people than Wisconsin, Maryland, Alabama and Colorado combined!  We’re talking teaming masses of people all with just three things on their minds – to eat, to win the lottery and to have sex.

We leave this afternoon on a high speed train to Beijing that will cover the 2,000 mile distance in about 12 hours.  Yup, we’re talkin’ TGV (only this isn’t France – the Chinese are just copycats!).  By this time tomorrow we’ll be wandering the streets of the Beijing (which used to be called “Peking” before it changed names to try to get out of paying child support).  Folks, here’s how big and important Beijing is – THEY HAVE A HOOTERS THERE!  Okay, enough said, right?

So here’s the deal.  Last night in Chengdu we went out for some “street barbecue” with a couple of guys we met at the massage parlor.  One speaks fluent Chinese but claims he’s from America, and the other says he’s Canadian but he speaks English and looks just like us - so those all have to be lies.  Anyway, we ate sticks of dead animals and vegetables, drank gallons of beer and now we’re off to see the tomb of a dead Communist – we’ll be in Beijing TO –MAO!
