WEDNESDAY!  Say it with us, HUMPDAY!  Yup, even in China people h*mp – allot! –  why do you think we’re here!   Anyway, as you all know, the Riding4Beer 2011 China Tour went off the map yesterday and we’re in the Tibetan highlands along the Silk Road in Shangra-la.  If you’ve ever read the book, “Lost Horizon” (because your English teacher made you), or if you’ve ever seen the movie (because you don’t know how to read), then you know what we’re talking about.  It’s F’ING HEAVEN ON EARTH!

Folks, we’d stay here forever, but we have to keep moving and stay ahead of the Chinese internet police searching for this website’s IP address “pings.”  (NOT KIDDING)   Anyway, we heard via Yak Mail today that the trains north from the one llama town of Lijiang (about a 5 hour life threatening bus ride through the Himalayas from here) have reopened after the flooding so we’re headed that way soon – but not too soon!  We’re not rushing out of Shangra-la until they throw us out (high possibility), or until those Commie internet bastards hit our local internet IP address and block our post uploads from here (also a high possibility).

In the meantime, we’re not only in the most beautiful place on earth; we’re dead center in the middle of the highest concentration of Malaria in the world.  The good news is that we planned for this and are now taking 250mg of Malarone® everyday.  The even better news is that the number one side-effect of Malarone® is vivid dreams.  And when we say “vivid,” think Vivid Video, Baby! (world’s largest producer of porn films).  Folks, we may NEVER stop taking this sh_t!   Oh look, it’s time for another nap!  We’ll post again soon, but not after a nap, a good sleep, another nap and a brief rest….
