SATURDAY!  Are you kidding us?  The time out here on the Riding4Beer 2011 China Tour is just flying by!  OH, and there is news from here in Jingdezhen to report – we’re on our way outta here – FINALLY!   Yup, after spending hours yesterday at the ticket office yelling, waving our arms, drawing pictures and generally being GREAT representatives of America, we have a bunch of paperwork, receipts and tickets that should get us on a train, and then another train, and then another train out of central China.  Folks, we’re headed to Guangzhou about 1,000 miles south of here and we should be there in time for Sunday morning bacon and eggs (or pigeon and squid).

Yesterday after we got our tickets, we had some time to finish up our business here in Jingdezhen, so we did the same thing we do when we’re back home – we went to Walmart!  So here’s the answers to the questions we know you wanna ask – yes, they sell cheap Chinese sh-t in Walmart here in China too, and no, the shoppers aren’t all 300lbs and wearing dirty sweat pants!  But get this, just outside the entrance you can have an honest to God, real live Walmart nurse in a nurse’s uniform and hat take your blood pressure and vaccinate you against Leprosy – F’ING LEPROSY RIGHT IN FRONT OF WALMART!   Now there’s something you don’t see everyday back home in the hood!

Folks, we know that you know that we know that you know that we never let the truth get in the way of a good story, but we just can’t make this sh-t up!  It literally writes itself (except we have to help it by moving our fingers on the computer keyboard – duh!).  Sometimes we just bust out laughing at the absurdity of things here in China – and other times people kick the living hell out of us for thinking stuff is funny.  Either way, it’s always a great time or a great story…
