THE VOICES IN OUR HEADS MAY NOT BE REAL, BUT THEY HAVE GREAT IDEAS!
WEDNESDAY - HUMP DAY! Hello, Girls & Boys! Besides being Hump Day, do you know what today is? It's the day after two days before! Before what? THE LAS VEGAS BIKEFEST of course! Aren't you paying attention? Look, we know you struggled in third grade math (we all did - although we really enjoyed leaning about the associative property!), but try to keep up here - this is important stuff! Friday we're taking the Riding4Beer tour on the road to Las Vegas and you're all coming along with us!
So here's the deal. We're riding over early (but not too early) Friday morning with another couple of Riding4Beer fanatics through the Mojave Desert (sounds impressive, huh!). Since we're not that experienced at long distance rides, we've spent literally hundreds of hours planning this trip (mostly in bars). We've read EVERY travel magazine we could find (Penthouse, Playboy, Maxim, Leg Warmer Quarterly, etc.) , we've been to AAA (and AA) countless times for maps and guidance (and 12 steps), and we've had several meetings with our riding partners that involved Power Point presentations, spreadsheets, critical path management PERT charts and internet porn. Folks, we're as ready as we're ever gonna be!
We'll be staying at the world famous Sahara Hotel, in the world famous Secretary of Agriculture suite, right on the world famous Las Vegas strip (pretty famous, huh?). Folks, it's gonna be a weekend of unabated debauchery and we wouldn't have it any other way - would you? Oh, and we'd also like to say "thank you" to all of our sponsors in advance before the lawsuits start flying and supeonas are issued. Just remember, that's why we set up that Jamacian limited liability company with proxy shareholders in Liechenstein - it's all about plausible deniability. It's gonna be a WILD time and there's only one day left before it all begins - stay tuned!
