IT'S A LOT OF RESPONSIBILITY - BUT DON'T WORRY, WE'LL LET YOU DOWN!

MONDAY!  Today is the DAY!  That's right folks, the Riding4Beer Winter Wonderland Tour (sponsored by Budweiser who we love, and Penske who we're learning to love!) is on the road!  We left New Orleans this morning by bus (NOT KIDDING) to Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  That's where we picked up our Penske truck that they (the corporate suit types) are paying us to deliver to California in a week (AGAIN - NOT KIDDING!).

Let's see, we left Baton Rouge (which mean "Red Stick" in a real language) around noon and made it to Houston, Texas by around sunset.  We didn't think it was responsible to drive "their" truck at night so we found a $29 dollar room at America's Best Value Inn (including breakfast buffet!) and headed for the nearest Hooters.  Look, we're not gonna drive "their" truck after dark on an interstate, but nobody said ANYTHING about city streets after a few pitchers of beer.

Folks, you gotta love this deal!  It's almost better than the public assistance scam, but we don't get health care at the free clinic.  They give us the truck, they pay for the gas, they give us $25 dollars a day for expenses and we have ten f'ing days to drive it from Louisiana to California.  Wait a minute - US!  This is us we're talking about!  What were they thinking?  Anyway, tonight we're in Houston at Hooters and tomorrow we'll be on the road again.  Our plan is to drive all the way to....
