WE'RE LIKE DOGS WITH AN OLD SHOE - WE NEVER LET GO!

It's TUESDAY SEPTEMBER THE FIRST!  Okay, there's been a few days missed here, but with a new month (and a new sponsor contract and a new check to cash) we're back online.  Never mind about the details - let's just say that we're glad to be back online and glad that Budweiser (the undisputed "King of Beers" and contract negotiators) is still our sponsor.  It's been about three weeks since we finished riding around the United States on the Riding4Beer Magical Mystery Tour and, while it was an ABSOLUTE blast, we're glad to be home in Palm Springs.

Let's talk about Palm Springs for a minute.  Let's see, we're surrounded by raging wildfires, the daytime temperature has been about 120 degrees and at night it cools off to a balmy 100.  Don't give us any of that sh_t about,  "...yeah, but it's a dry heat" - so is a f'ing convection oven, okay!  Look, 120 is hot even if the humidity is zero (and it's pretty damn close to zero!).  The good news is that we qualified for a MAJOR discount on our electric bill (because we're "economically disadvantaged") so we can afford to run our air conditioning 24 hours a day.  It's like a walk-in freezer in our house and boy does it mess with your head when you walk in from 120 degrees!

Anyway, now that we're home it's payback time.  That's right, all the people who graciously let us sleep in their houses, eat their food and drink their beer while riding around the country are coming to visit us here in Palm Springs.  Our Southern U.S. Regional Senior Vice Presidents, Mike & Sandra will be here in a few days from New Orleans.  Jean & Larry, the Great Midwest Senior Executive Territory Managing Directors from somewhere in Minnesota will be arriving in a couple of weeks and our Northern California Senior Fun Advisor, Leslie, will follow not long after that.  Folks, when you live in a resort town (and we do - even if it is just in a trailer) you get plenty of visitors.  Don't worry, we're plenty busy raking the gravel in front of our space, we spent half of our public assistance checks at Sam's Club buying Cheetos & Hamburger Helper and now it's time to take a break and hydrate - BEER!...

It's always good to be home and drive our car!                                Staying out of the sun means wearing a hat!
