THE ONLY EASY DAY WAS YESTERDAY!

WEDNESDAY!  Prairies, grasslands, deserts, mountains, salt flats – we’ve been going through real estate like a Century 21 agent on crack!  We started the day in the middle of Wyoming and now we’re in eastern Nevada .  You all realize that Utah is in between, right?  It was one loooong, hot day – but now we’re in Wendover (not Bend-over), Nevada .

Folks, a person could do a lot worse after a 500 mile day than to end up here.  We’re right on the edge of the Bonneville Salt Flats (fast cars& faster women!), it’s Nevada so there are casinos (all you can eat buffets!) and we’re staying at some dive motel that doesn’t have free HBO, but does have free washers & dryers (clean at last – thank God almighty clean at last!).  The only thing missing is a strip club, but it’s highly likely after a few beers we can get that action going in any local bar around here.

The problem with the wild wooly west is that the distances are great and the in-between is not so great.  Go on, look at a map you Bozos & Bozettes!  East to west out here is an absolute b_tch!  Oh, we could have stayed in Salt Lake City but Mormons scare us!  We could have kept riding to Elko or Winnemucca, but…you get our point.  Besides, we’re not moving here – we’re just sleeping here, eating here, drinking here and….

Ready for another long, hot day in the West!                      This is where they cut a Lincoln in half!

You're on the Continental Divide.  We think your brains are also on the divide.  You looney tunes are definitely looking to get in some more trouble before your back home.  Budweiser has to be proud of you both as their traveling ambassadors.  We are also proud of you silly bastards for all you have accomplished.  We cannot help but love you both. Have a safe journey.

Guess you missed the wonderful state of Idaho! That's ok, the weather is great here but the fishing isn't bad either!  Have a safe trip home and I'll see you in October in Palm Springs.
