WEATHER HAPPENS - AND TODAY WE'RE GLAD IT DID!

FRIDAY!  The Riding4Beer Magical Mystery Tour (sponsored by the "King of Beers," Budweiser!) took to the road today and left Neenah, Wisconsin behind in history.  Our hosts there, Guy and Cary, pretty much had about enough of us eating their food, drinking their beer and changing our motorcycle oil in their living room (we had to keep the bike dry and it was raining outside).  Anyway, with fresh oil in the crankcase (and their carpet a new dark brown color), we hopped on the Harley and headed south.

We didn't get too far today - about 100 miles or so.  A massive weather front advancing from the west made us seek refuge in a cheap-ass motel in Milwaukee.  Actually, we were gonna stay here anyway but the choice of motel was made based on rain arriving followed by hail and then a tornado warning.  Sooooooo, guess what we did to pass the hours?  One word - "Harley Davidson Power Train Operations Factory!"  Yup, this is where our baby Harley's engine was born waaaay back in 2003.

So, let's review the situation.  Sh_tty weather, Harley factory tour, Harley museum still waiting for us, a tornado warning, low-life motel room and even lower life bar right in the parking lot.  Hmmmmm, decisions, decisions.  Okay, time's up - we've decided.  Look, it's Friday night, there's $5 dollar pitchers of Budweiser waiting 100 yards from our motel and we're willing to bet based on the outside of the bar and the cars parked there we'll find more than one "down-on-her-luck" stripper, or dancer or frustrated housewife that would love to give us a squeezer or two.  And remember, it's just 100 yard walk back to our room!...

Kevin & Guy partied last night with Rod Stewart - sorta!               Mark (in charge of security) kept Stacy VERY secure!

Kevin deserved getting hit with soda from the bar hose!         The center of the universe - Harley Power Train Operations!

These motorcycle gypsies left our house before the sun came up and took all our credit cards, all our beer and rode off.  We do wish them good luck, but if you do see these Budweiser Banditos, hang on tight to your cash!  We cannot help but love these two silly bastards.  Good riding.
