WHY WISCONSIN? IT'S THE CHEESE OF COURSE!
TUESDAY! Good bye Eau Claire and hello Green Bay (actually not Green Bay but some little wannabe town called Neenah about 30 miles south). Anyway, we made it across Wisconsin today ahead of a MAJOR rain storm that chased us all the way just about 15 minutes behind (like the Highway Patrol). The good news is that we made it here safe and dry, and the bad news is....ah....er....er.....for once there is no bad news!
Actually there is some sideways news - remember Stacy's tooth problem that we thought was fixed at the Discount Smile Center a week ago? Well, not fixed at all and soooooooo tomorrow she's scheduled for a root canal, denture fitting, crowns, a bridge, 3 fillings, a cleaning, molar implants and a tongue brushing. Okay, minor exaggeration - there will be no tongue brushing. It's okay. We're at Guy & Cary's house, we're using their dentist and we expect the recovery to take a loooooooong time since they have plenty of food in their pantry and cases of beer in their garage. In automobile manufacturing it's called, "just in time inventory!"
Folks, everything happens for a reason - wars, train wrecks, paternity lawsuits - they all occur when the time is right. Believe us when we tell ya, the time was right for us to bust in on Guy & Cary here in Neenah, Wisconsin. Our funds were running low (that's a subtle hint to the Riding4Beer Magical Mystery Tour sponsor, Budweiser. Hey guys, think WIRE TRANSFER!), our motorcycle needed oil and we needed more beer in the worst way! We're here for a few days at least, tonight we're headed out to scout the local bars and (if we're lucky) make some new friends for Guy & Cary...

The f'ing traffic on Wisconsin highways is worse than L.A.! We recognized Guy & Cary's house immediately!

Cary & Guy were sitting out front waiting with beers! It's weird staying here - we have to sleep with their daughter!

Is this a treat or what? We have the whack jobs staying at our house. We have never been in a situation quite like this, having a couple mental patients to take care of. You know the old saying though, we cannot help but love these two.
guy and cary.
