YOU CAN FOOL SOME OF THE PEOPLE SOME OF THE TIME - AND THAT'S ENOUGH TO MAKE A DAMN GOOD LIVING! (OR A SQUEEZER OR TWO)
THURSDAY! That's right, the weekend is here - it's FRIDAY EVE! We're in New Orleans for the weekend and however long after that it takes to work off our bar tab. We're just a day short of three weeks out on the Riding4Beer Magical Mystery Tour (sponsored by those lucky bastards at Budweiser - the "King of Beers!") and we've already covered over 3,500 miles. It's definitely time for a little beer break. Oh yeah, we know we've already done that the past two weekends in San Antonio, Texas and Oxford, Mississippi (and every night in between in god knows where), but this time we mean it!
New Orleans is like a second "home base" for us since we have a permanently rented room here in the French Quarter. Actually, one of our best regional sponsors is right around the corner - Finnegan's Easy Pub. They don't really provide us any money or anything for free, but they let us use their name as a sponsor and that makes us feel important. And really, when it comes to us - it's all about how WE feel, right?
Anyway, we spent most of the day running around the city with our good friend, Mike, who works part time as a bail bondsman. He needed backup on a couple of "skips," and we needed a ride to the Harley dealer to replace our broken rear fender rack so it was an even trade. Actually, we came out with the better end of the deal because we not only got the rack, but we met some really cool people that had skipped on their bail. Mostly they were just down-on-their-luck strippers written up on bogus "morals" charges so we covered their costs and are meeting them later at Finnegan's for a few beers and hopefully a squeezer or two - Oh they love us New Orleans!...

Damn Louisiana roads! It was a "clean" break, but a costly one! We covered Kimdeara's bail for a squeezer or two!

Tough break on those chrome pipes....guess that's a sign of a pipe that get polished too often.
