CAN YOU SAY, " N-E-W O-R-L-E-A-N-S?"
WEDNESDAY! You know, we spent so much time in Mississippi we could have registered to vote. Actually, all sorts of people are registered to vote in Mississippi - and some of them are even living. Anyway, after six days of partying and fooling around we crossed the state line into Louisiana. Oh yeah, you guessed it - NEW ORLEANS, BABY!
Now many of you know that we keep a little place here in the French Quarter because it makes things easier for all of our court appearances. Anyway, we're here now and gee, it's only 103 degrees outside and the air conditioner is broken. But the good news is that our credit card that had the number stolen and the account frozen way back in Midland, Texas (does it surprise you that would happen in the boyhood hometown of George Bush?) was waiting for us here in New Orleans. Here's how we see it - no air conditioning but plenty of available credit to spend in cool, dark Bourbon Street bars. Sounds like an even trade to us!
The ride today from Vicksburg, Mississippi was about 250 miles with most of it in 100+ degree humid southern heat. Don't get us wrong, we like it hot, and we like it sticky, but that's at night and indoors. Outside and during the day we prefer it cool - but then again our preferences aren't always accommodated. If they were then we'd be dot-com millionaires and naked in a hot tub with Bill Gates' wife (while Bill is on a business trip of course!). Folks, we're done complaining. We're in New Orleans, we have bail bondsmen on retainer and here we go...

In Vicksburg they made Stacy fill the pool to use it! We wondered why the internet ran slow in Mississippi!

These guys LOVED it when Stacy flashed them from the bike! OH YEAH, BABY! We are here!
