THE RIDING4BEER MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR BEGINS!
SATURDAY MORNING - UGH! It's still f'ing dark outside and we're up, the sofa-sleeper is rolled away and we're ready to begin. IT'S 4 AM GOD DAMN IT! We shouldn't have stayed out most of the night drinking "goodbyes" with everyone, but hindsight is always 20-20 (especially if you're wearing glasses and the "hind" you "sight" is attractive!)
Anyway, we're off and you'll hear from us every day right here on this website. As a matter of fact, you'll hear from us again late today when we post from our first destination on the Riding4Beer Magical Mystery Tour (remember, Budweiser sponsors us , so DRINK UP!). Any guess where our first night will be spent? Well, we haven't got a clue either, but we do know it will be somewhere east and north of Palm Springs.
Folks, by the time you read this (because you're still sleeping off that cheap gin you drank last night) we'll have been on the road for hours. We realize that the trip will be about 15,000 miles and take about three months, but the first day is always a big one. Sort of a "shake down," get comfortable in your skin and get in the groove. Next stop?...
Kevin slept prepared for the ride AND like a baby - LITERALLY! 4am - wheeling the "Mudflap Girl" out of the garage!

The loose nuts are out! Look out, they're coming your way. Grab the women and the children, the crazies are on the prowl. But ya know what? We cannot help but love those two. Have a safe journey, you are now in Allah's hands.

These two are going to be needing help. Welcome them into your home, fix them a hot meal, let them drink all your beer - Budweiser of course - let them bond with your daughter,( or bondage if you allow). Remember this always our friends, we cannot help but love these two.

So you realised there are 2 4 o'clocks in a day one that's convenient - the other well not so much. No one is at their best when they wake up eh?
Still warm sunny weather no doubt awaits you. Still not warmed up sufficiently at my latitude will be around 68f at sea level today ok for wandering about but not swimming in the ocean.. Brrrrrr..

Lid is English colloquial for helmet. (Did I mention some of the new slang over here?) Anyway the reasoning behind it is a lid goes on top of a jar and is designed to keep in the contents!! Follow me so far? Well you can work out the rest
Just saw your entry saying you are at Area 51 - watch out for strange green men wearing lids and even stranger ones wearing US Air Force uniforms.... PS they will have lids on as well
