THURSDAY!  It's Friday Eve and just one day away from the beginning of the Riding4Beer Magical Mystery Tour (bought and paid for by our sponsor, Budweiser!).  On Saturday morning (before the sun even rises!) we'll be on the Harley headed East and searching out crazy and wacky places all over the country.  We figure it'll take about three months so Budweiser may have to kick in a few more bucks - especially if the admission price to American Trainer Underwear Museum goes up.

Speaking of our GREAT sponsor, (Budweiser, in case you forgot), they were supposed to get us all kinds of cool stuff to hand out along the way.  Well, first we were told it was backordered.  Next they said it was lost in shipping.  Finally they said, "...just go ahead and start the trip, we'll forward it to you along the way."  YEAH RIGHT!  Look, we don't do this for the money (yeah we do!).  We do it for the bottle openers and key chains.  And now all we have to show for their sponsorship is a 3% check cashing fee from the RanchMart!

Anyway, now we know the REAL story.  It seems that not far from Palm Springs in Riverside (where's there's no river) Budweiser had a warehouse full of cool things.  Well, according to the newspaper, a couple of guys broke in and stole it all yesterday.  Now what kind of low-life scum would do something like that - maybe somebody that's tired of waiting for their stuff?  Let's just say that we're not worried about having any trinkets on the trip anymore...
