BEER COMES IN BOTTLES BECAUSE THEY ARE ALSO GOOD WEAPONS!

WEDNESDAY - HUMPDAY!  Okay, we know that we didn't post a damned thing here yesterday, but it was Tuesday and nothing really happened except recovery.  Recovery?  Oh, you betcha!  You see, Monday night we went out for Monday Night Football here in the French Quarter and remember, the game was here in New Orleans at the StuporDome.  Well, lets just say that it wasn't a calm night pre, during or after the game.

We settled onto our reserved (oh yeah, baby!) barstools about an hour before kickoff and we don't mean football.  It turns out that the guy sitting next to Stacy was some famous martial arts movie star.  Anyway, when some drunk in a plastic sombrero (not Kevin this time) tried to talk an off-work stripper into a free squeezer (we call that a "pressure squeezer!") he hit him mid-sentence with a flying leg kick to the throat.  That guy went down like a Russian nuclear plant with a core leak.  That's when the bartenders declared, "free drinks on the house,"  and another party night in the French Quarter began.

By the time the game was over (Remember?  It was Monday Night Football!) everyone was getting free squeezers from the stripper (except the sombrero guy) and she'd even called a few friends on her pre-paid cellphone to come join in the fun.  Of course we had to wait until their dance shifts were over at the club, but all that meant was that when they did show up they had plenty of $1 dollar bills to spread around.  Nothing beats Monday Night Football, but Monday Night Football in the French Quarter - and nothing beat Monday Night Football in the French Quarter except....and yes, we did that too...

He's a classy guy, but a free squeezer?           Stacy & Jackie Chan after "Sombreo Man" was dropped like cotton panties at a prom!

Bartenders Tammy & Cecelia confer & decide on free drinks for all!                        Okay, it's a menu.  Guess what we ordered!
