QUICK! NAME THREE FAMOUS SPANISH NUCLEAR PHYSICISTS!

Can you say it?  IT'S THURSDAY!  Yup, it's Friday Eve here in Spain and it's gotta be Friday Eve where you are too (unless you're on the other side of the "Intergalactic Dateline!").  What does that mean to you?  To us it means the weekend is here and it's time to PARTY!  Now usually we leave town for the weekend (because we have to by police order), but the law enforcement community here in Barcelona haven't caught onto us yet so we're here for the long haul.  Well, our hotel caught onto us but they're a bunch of "haters" anyway (charged us for the Budweiser and M&M's we took from that little fridge in our room!) so after tonight we're moving to some hostel in mid-city (Calle La Rambla, wherever that is!).

So, because the 2008 Riding4Beer World Tour is sponsored by Budweiser (THANK YOU BUD!) we are contractually obligated not only to drink Budweiser ("and affiliated Anheuser-Busch products" - paragraph 14.3(c)(ii) of our contract) and to generally promote it on this website, we have to broadcast via webcam once a week to Budweiser bars back in America.  Okay, so here's the deal - we have to do the broadcast live and at 7pm Pacific Coast Time - BUT THAT'S FOUR F'ing O'CLOCK A.M. HERE IN SPAIN!  Let's just say that nothing is pretty at 4am, even us!  We've missed the last three weeks of broadcast because of "technical" reasons (hopefully they buy that excuse) so we REALLY had to make it happen this time.  We did make it, but do the math - 7pm Wednesday in California is 4am Thursday here in Spain - that's why we can talk about this on Thursday's post!

But wait, let's talk about Barcelona for a few sentences a least.  Okay here goes; it's a big city, it's on the ocean, there are lots of fancy buildings and churches; the bars serve Budweiser (cold!) and pretty much everyone speaks Spanish.  HEY WAIT A MINUTE! It's just like Los Angeles only with less crime and lower taxes!  No wonder we feel soooooo at home here.  We bet that even the ballots for elections are available in Spanish!  It's now 2pm here in "Barcefornia," we're finally awake after our 4am broadcast and the cantinas serving Budweiser are open for the day so it's time to hit the streets.  Don't ya just love L.A.?........

4 PICS AND NO VIDEO - OKAY, YOU COME TO SPAIN AND FIX THIS MESS!

Why is the Barcelona Fire Dept called the "Bombers?"               Stacy just heard what really happens at Bull Fights!

We feel just like we're in L.A.                                                                                   And Barcelona looks like L.A. too!

Hola, we really like how that rings!  How are all the sights around Spain - we hear there is alot of nice art there.  We wish we were there drinking some Budweiser with you two silly bastards.  Remember, we cannot help but love you two.

Did you know that Christian Bale, The Dark Knight, is in your town? Yeah, he's looking for little old ladies to beat up; and, to attend the premier of his movie in Barcelona. Will you be in the parade of celebrities?
