"FRANCE, FRANCE UNDERPANTS!"
MONDAY! Another week on the 2008 Riding4Beer World Tour (sponsored by Budweiser!) and it just keeps getting better. We're still in Lyon, France sleeping for free at our friends Ceci & Stephan's and enjoying the absolute best Europe has to offer. Come on, think about it, people! We're in France where they build the absolute best automobiles (like the Citroen), where its peaceful and calm (like the student riots in Paris) and where they absolutely love Americans. Okay, maybe there are few minor downsides, but it's still FRANCE, BABY!
Yesterday we toured "old Lyon," which basically means we looked at old castles, and looked at old churches and stood in long lines behind old people. But seeing all of this crumbling infrastructure really gives you sense of history - like, IT SURE IS F'ing GREAT TO BE ALIVE NOW INSTEAD OF BACK THEN! Folks, we don't know about you, and yes, we all talk about the "good ol' days," but would you really wanna live in a dark castle without running water (so no party shower), with no microwave oven (so no Pepperoni Bagel Bites) and no internet porn? Sorta sucked to be King didn't it?
Look, it's not that we're not respectful of history (we're not), but ESPN, The Disney Channel and the Spice Network (especially the Spice Network) just seem like a much better way to spend the day than sitting around writing sh_t with quill pens and sealing them with wax (although, we did see a pretty cool show on the Spice Network that involved wax). Folks, we're not sure how long we'll be sleeping for free in Lyon, but right now the cafes are open, the beer (Budweiser!) is flowing and...
6 PICS - NO VIDEO, BUT COME ON! 6 PICS!

Another day, another car-bomb - HEY, IT'S FRANCE! This is where the Romans drank Budweiser!

Just wait until you make a call on one of these! Forgive me father, it's been...ah...er...40 years since....

And why do you think we're all smiling? ...because this is the street where we ate dinner!

Kevin, sitting on the rocks, being a roman gladheateher, you silly bastard ya! We see you two are back to no good again, we wished we were there doing the same thing but we have to go to work for awhile yet. Have lots of fun and remember, we cannot help but love you two.
