FOLKS! We plan on posting again before we leave tomorrow to cross Siberia, but here are some pictures we were able to upload (finally) from an internet connection in a bus garage (NOT KIDDING!) here in Ulannbaatar, Mongolia.

Kevin, it is amazing that you both were allowed to get out of China alive, now you're in Mongolia! Why you two silly bastards ya. The Gobi Desert looks beautiful this time of the year. Be careful of those mongols, they will want to turn you into one. Have a great time and remember, we cannot help but love you two.

Kevin and Stacy -- You guys are certainly experiencing the time of your lives (and ours)! I would certainly like to know how you are finding all these hotel deals...I'm surprised that we didn't cross paths before the X'ian train station. You had about the same itinerary that we did up to that point. Good luck with your adventures. After two weeks of the Chinese experience, we were all happy to see blue (really blue American) skies again and traffic that doesn't seem to be that bad anymore....

Enjoy your stay here. Drink Mongolian beers: Borgio, Karkorum, Golden Gobi, Yahuu!, Chinggis, Khan Brau ... You will definitely like it. I wish I could join you. Unfortunately I'm driving.
