HE WHO LAUGHS LAST IS THE SLOWEST THINKER!

It's TACO TUESDAY!  Except that we're not having tacos because that was sooooooo yesterday with the Cinco de Mayo thing and all.  Nope, it's just plain, old, vanilla, boring, worthless, regular Tuesday and that's fine with us.  After all the thrill and excitement of drinking Mexican beer until 2am and wearing a serape without any underwear (we didn't start out dressed that way) we need a day to recover and sleepy Tuesday is perfect.

Last night started out (and ended up) at the world famous Palm Canyon Roadhouse (OH YEAH! it's on "the" Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs).  The Roadhouse is now a GOLD sponsor of the upcoming Riding4Beer World Tour (beginning June 10 and circling the earth in 80 days!) so we figured the least we could do was stop by, have a beer or ten, celebrate the "5th of May-O" and add to our outstanding bar tab.  Besides, we figured we could get a couple of free beers outta them since their sponsor check to us bounced like a cat falling from a four story window.

"Bank error," the owners told us - and of course that's believable since our bank bounces checks on our account several times a week.  ATM cards, deposit slips, checking accounts, reverse rated triple tranche interest rate swaps; it's all pretty confusing to simple minded folks like us.  Well, all of it except the interest rate swaps - we definitely understand swapping, but haven't been to a swap meet in weeks (what did you think we were talking about, you perverts!).  Anyway, we didn't get any free beer but we did get free peanuts and a new (post-dated) check.  Our departure is just 33 days away and in the meantime we're more than happy to keep working for peanuts...

Likw we said - We love to swap!                                                      OK, they're not as good as a check that clears...
