AGE AND CUNNING BEATS YOUTH AND EXUBERANCE EVERYTIME!

Is it Friday yet?  Nope, but it is Thursday, which is almost as good since it's FRIDAY EVE!  Think about it!  Christmas Eve ain't Christmas, but it sure is fun with the mistle toe and the stockings and the garter belts to hold 'em up and the... (okay, we think you get it!).  Friday Eve is just like Christmas Eve only without the eggnog and no there's assembly is required.   WHEW!

Okay, so here's the lowdown.  Our son has been visiting us the last few days from Japan (he likes playing Nintendo, what can we say?) and we took him to the aeropuerto (Southern California talk for "airport") today for his return home.  To save money he's flying on Southwest Airlines, but do you have any idea how many stops he's gonna have to make to get back to Okinawa on Southwest?  He should be there by this time next week, but at least the airfare was only $49!  Folks, it may not be American Airlines, but at least Southwest's planes fly!

Look, while he was here we wanted to be good role models (actually, we wanted to be model role models!).  We didn't hang out with the hooker that lives in our trailer park down in space 27, we left the bar early last night after only five hours of drinking because he collapsed in a drunken coma and yesterday being Wednesday, (Humpday) we didn't even ............ because our trailer has thin walls and he would have heard all the screaming (and Stacy's screaming  too!).    As parents we realize we have to make concessions - speaking of concessions, there's a beer concession over at Palm Canyon Roadhouse just waiting to sell us few cold ones, our son is now on a plane to Japan, our assistance check from the county came in the mail today and...

We took our son shopping for some new clothes!                      Then we dropped him off for his $49 flight to Japan.

Back at our trailer park the drinks started flowing!                     Why not?  We only have a 0.3% chance of survival!

nothing has changed at your residence that we can see.   You silly bastards are back to no good, lifting credit cards, cheating tourists, running out without paying your bar tab - we wished we were there doing it with you!  You are actually kind of people, such wonderful humanitarians you both are.  That's why you should always remember, we cannot help but love you two.  Have a fun weekend, then again you always do.
