WE HAVE AN UNCANNY SENSE OF TIMING - JUST ASK OUR PAROLE OFFICER!

MONDAY, MONDAY, MONDAY!  Bright and early......WAY BRIGHT AND EARLY!   We're soooooo outta New Orleans - for a few weeks anyway.  Our lives and lies have caught up to us and we beat a hasty departure this morning from the French Quarter, from New Orleans, from Louisiana - Hell, from the whole southern United States!  Sometimes, a series of events just happens, the stars align, harmonic convergence occurs and, and, and.....OUTTA HERE!

Folks, it's not that we've overstayed our welcome in New Orleans (we have), or that we've broken any laws (we have), or that we've committed any crimes against nature (we definitely have!).  It's just that after a few weeks our reputations start preceding us, the bartenders cut off our open tabs and we grow tired of scamming tourists into buying us beer.  Besides, we have to check in with our California parole officer (he didn't know we'd left the state - don't tell him!).  We also have a court hearing tomorrow morning in Palm Springs and if we get another "failure to appear" warrant issued it won't be pretty - can you say "three strikes?"

Anyway, we were in New Orleans from before St. Patrick's Day through Easter Sunday - both MAJOR catholic holidays - so we figure that was a good run for us.  Besides, yesterday we lifted some American Airline tickets from an unsuspecting tourist from Omaha and had 'em switched into flights to Palm Springs.  Now we know what you're thinking, but don't worry!  Our guy, Louie "the Pen" Riccuchi (yup, name ends in a vowel - you know what that means!) hooked us up with some fake Iowa (easy to forge) Driver Licenses with matching names, so the overweight folks at the airport in black stretch pants will never know - IN YOUR FACE TSA!  We're sorry to be gone from New Orleans, glad to be back in Palm Springs and WHEW, we need a few beers...

From St. Patrick's Day (Stacy in the middle), to...      The Gay Easter Parade (Kevin on the left) - it's NEW ORLEANS!

Our last New Orleans meal - Rabbit Stew for Easter!            HEY TSA!  We got your baggage Inspection right here!
