YOU CAN RUN AWAY FROM YOUR PAST - BUT THEN YOU HIT THE FUTURE HEAD FIRST!

Here's how it happens - First it Sunday, then it's Monday, then WHAM! - IT'S WEDNESDAY!  They say that time flies when you're having fun, but it also flies when you're hungover and avoiding process servers.  We'd like to say we're sorry for not posting the last two days....but we're not that big of liars.  Yeah, we feel bad about it, but it's not like we're gonna jump off our trailer's porch, or go to church or anything rash!

SO!  Instead of feeling bad (and also to avoid service of supeonas) we hopped on the Harley yesterday and headed for the border.  THE MEXICAN BORDER!  Oh yeah, no extradition for crimes of passion or acts against nature - we checked!   There was a problem at the border however, (something about the stolen passports we were using showing up in some computer database - F'ing Homeland Security!), so we didn't make it into the land of cheap Coronas and midnight Donkey shows.  We were left instead on this side of the border to "duck and cover" from the California Highway Patrol, the Riverside and Imperial County Sheriff Departments and some guy chasing us in 1987 Ford Crown Victoria trying to serve us with some civil action brought by the Palm Springs Girl Scouts.

Anyway, we used the opportunity to check out some other really nice places to live in the Southern California desert.  Ever hear of Borrego Springs?  Neither had we, but here's all you need to know - head south to the Salton Sea and turn right.  We like to think of Borrego Springs as the place people go when they can't live at the Salton Sea because of property prices or too many outstanding arrest warrants.  Folks, we considered a move, but in the end returned to Palm Springs, ducked the process servers and lived to drink another day...

Borrego Springs American Legion can't even afford a building!                     We thought we'd found our next home!

But why rent a trailer space when you can own!                                 And just look at these GREAT property deals!

The deals on property you run into are amazing!  You two are naturals at finding properties that are diamonds in the rough.  You two never cease to amaze us.  Remember the old Wisconsin saying, "we cannot help but love you two!"
