FRIDAY! FRIDAY! FRIDAY!  Let people scream it from the mountain tops, let children sing in class, let dogs bark it in bark-talk.  It doesn't get any better than Friday, does it?  Well, Saturday is pretty damn close, but Friday absolutely ROCKS!   It's the end of the work week (we don't have jobs), it's the beginning of the weekend (all days are the same to us!) but most importantly - WE GET OUR COUNTY CHECK ON FRIDAYS! 

Look, all this "high finance" stuff is lost on us.  We are simple people and use a simple personal accounting  method called "First in - All out!"  It's not difficult at all.  We get our check, cash it at Desert RanchMart (Mr. Sabooh there only charges us a 12% discount), head to Walmart to stock up on Doritos, Dexatrim and Depends (for the weekend) and what's left over we spend wandering  the bars on Palm Canyon Drive (say it with us - PALM CANYON DRIVE, BABY!).  Who needs to accrue for accumulated depreciation using the accelerated cost recovery method?   We prefer using the double-entry system, and that's true for our choice of accounting also!

Folks, you don't need a Nobel Prize to live like us.  As a matter of fact, all you really need is a felony arrest record and good Public Defender.  Get yourself a solid double-wide, find a quiet trailer park (or at least one where the hookers will give you a discount along with the crack dealers) and your life can be Nirvana like ours.  Oh yeah, you'll also need car (we prefer the 1984 Skylark - classic lines!) and a Pit Bull, but you can always just trade your meds from the free clinic for those.  Guess what?  It's still Friday and that County check ain't gonna cash itself.  We're off to the RanchMart, Palm Canyon Drive (say it silently to yourself this time, BABY!) and...
