YOU LAUGH AT US BECAUSE WE'RE DIFFERENT - WE LAUGH AT YOU BECAUSE WE'RE DRUNK!
Let's say it with feeling, "IT'S THURSDAY!" Oh yeah, and you all know what that means - IT'S FRIDAY EVE! - and time to start celebrating the weak-end. We call it the "weak" end because we're "weak," and we just can't stop ourselves from makining excuses to go out and drink. Look, they say that all of this alcohol consumption will ruin our livers, but they also said if we ..... that we'd go blind and grow hair on our palms. Guess what? They definitely lied about that so why should we believe them about the liver "thing?"
Besides, what we are is a prodcut of our childhood. It's not our fault - we're the victims here!. Folks, we grew up on Wonder Bread, Kraft Mac & Cheese and Coors Light. It's not that our parents didn't care about us (they didn't), it's just that we sorta developed "differently" than the other kids. NO, NO, NO, our parents weren't negligent, or abusive, they just....well.....er.....we did grow up in the 60's, so just imagine what our parents were doing! Kevin's mom wasn't even there when he was born. And Stacy's dad? Well lets just say the whole "Boyscout leader/pup tent incident" was way overblown (even though they did have to move to another town after it came out).
Anyway, we don't blame our parents for letting us grow up the way we did. As a matter of fact, we're glad they did! We don't think that our kids (we have three that we let live) have seen us sober in ten years. When they were little we used to drink because they cried. When they became teenagers we drank because, well, because they were teenagers. And when they moved out we drank to celebrate. So, basically the drinking is all our kids' faults - not our parents. But don't tell our kids, because we know they'll be the ones choosing our convelescent home, so in the meantime since it's Friday Eve, we're gonna go out and celebrate...

Stacy circa 1958 - it's really not her parents' fault! Stacy circa today at noon - same ol' Stacy!

You silly bastards just do not quit! You're annoying, cantankerous, drunk all the time, fun, a joy to be around, proud to be seen with, happy go lucky alcoholics, and we cannot help but love you two. Have a great weekend.
guy and cary.
