It's Sunday here in Palm Springs.  Actually it's Sunday everywhere in the country, but we have overseas readers and there's that whole international dateline "thing" - we didn't understand it in third grade and we don't understand it now.  Yeah, we know it's Monday in Asia, but guess what?  We're not in Asia, we're in freakin' Palm Springs, so get over it! 

Anyway, we love Sundays.  It's a chance to get up early, a chance to wear nice clothes and a chance to meet our neighbors and become better people at our local church or synagogue.  Okay, we said it's "a chance."  Let's get this straight, WE DON'T TAKE CHANCES!  We love Sundays because we can get up late, we can sober up and we can read our neighbors newspaper that we stole and look for coupons and sales.  Church? - yeah, good concept, but let's see if it lasts. 

Folks, we're just not that big on eating vanilla wafers and drinking grape juice while pretending it's somebody's flesh.   We rather be eating Scooter Pies and drinking Coors while pretending they're Scooter Pies and Coors!  Don't get us wrong, we love pretending, and our fantasies do involve flesh, but they also involve twin Asian cheerleaders and an entire wildland fire crew!  Oh yeah, and then there's the one where Kevin pretends to be the mailman and Stacy pretends that her husband is away on business and she's all alone - that's one of our favorites!  Now you know why we love Sundays, but tomorrow is Monday and we can always pretend it's still Sunday...
