JUST LIKE IN THE ARMY - IN MEXICO WE WANNA BE ALL THAT WE CAN BE!

IT'S FRIDAY! - okay that's the good news.  Oh, and we're also not in jail - that's also the good news!  Last night however, is more like the bad news (at least the parts we can remember).  It all started on the beach at sunset and pretty much deteriorated from there.  Stacy met up with some guy that had some horses - okay you know where this is going.  Next thing we know we're off riding like the Lone Ranger down the beach with the Pedro guy yelling and running like Hell after us.  We ditched the ponies in some sand dunes and lost ourselves in some small town just one step ahead of the Federales.  But at that point the night was just starting for us.

It seems that there was some kind of festival in the town to celebrate Jesus or some other Christian demi-god.  Look, we're just not up on all of this religious stuff (except Witchcraft), but after a few cervezas we felt comfortable enough to join in the fun.  Kevin grabbed a bat from some little kid and started pounding a paper donkey until candy flew everywhere.   If we had known Mexican Christianity was so much fun we never would have become Seventh Day Adventists!  We're not sure what the connection between the birth of Jesus and bashing paper animals filled with Hersey bars is, but it's GREAT therapy.

By the time all the kids quit screaming and fighting for candy we figured it was safe to make our way back down the beach.  Besides, a few of the local adults were getting angry with us for grabbing KitKat bars from the smaller kids.  Anyway, we headed out and on the way we met a guy doing some night beach fishing for marlin.  We joined in and within minutes had landed easily a 200 pound bluefin.  We don't understand why everyone uses a boat to nail these fish when you can just reel them in from the beach with a trout rod.  The evening becomes a bit blurry after that, but we did make it back to our hotel, tonight is the beginning of the weekend and guess what we'll be doing...

It all started downhill when we stole two horses!                    Kevin whacked the daylights out of the paper donkey!

Landing a 200lb marlin like this takes skill!                        We don't know these people, but nice waxing on the rear!
