WE MAY BE CRAZY ANNOYING BASTARDS - BUT AT LEAST WE'RE GOOD AT SOMETHING!
Palm Springs / Associated Press - It's Thursday and we're back in California! Wednesday was a travel day - one in which we rapidly got out of New Orleans just before the warrants were served and high-tailed it across state lines back to the "Left Coast!" Things were going GREAT in Loooosiana until Stacy got a job playing the horn at some club. Let's just say that her idea of "playing the horn" was not what management had in mind, or the New Orleans Police Department/Vice Division. We just hope that our night school educated Public Defender down there can get the charges dropped on some clever technicality (like we'll pay off the judge in cash, or something).
Anyway, we caught the first flight out and are back at the trailer park here in Palm Springs. When we started going through all the mail and porn magazines that had piled up in our absence we found out that our home equity loan had been approved against our double-wide! THIS IS GREAT NEWS! Now we have the "flexibility" and "convienience" of drawing on all the equity we've built up over the years. They even included a check for the full amount of the credit line so we could begin spending immediately! Yes, banking has been "beri beri" good to us!
Also, we got a "personal" letter from the governor of Alaska. Not kidding here folks - and this is in spite of the fact we not only have never lived in Alaska, we've never even been to Alaska! We guess he just figured he'd drop us a note to stay in touch. Actually he wanted donations for some cause (save the gay, unborn, albino, arctic seals from nuclear plants or something), and since we had all the money from our equity line, we just sent it to him! Our charity know no bounds - besides, it's not like we're pay back the loan - what are they gonna do, put the wheels back on and tow away our house? All this high finance and political intrigue has us thirsty and feeling important, so since it's Thursday (Friday Eve), we'll be out on Palm Canyon Drive (YEAH BABY - PALM CANYON DRIVE) celebrating and...

Stacy was GREAT at drawing in the crowds! The whole "playing the horn" thing was terribly mis-understood!

The check was for 100% of our double-wide's equity! We donated it all to the Governor of Alaska!

Why you silly bastards! We are glad you made it back to the trailer park in California. We are going out tonite too - it is supposed to be 15 degrees above zero - that nice refreshing crisp air, we just can't get enough of it! We are actually going out to watch the Packers in some sports bar, then we are going out for some X-mas cheer - possibly a nutcracker, drinking some new concoctions with my little contswella. Got to go now - we cannot help but love you two.
guy and cary.
