What?  Monday already?  Thank goodness it's a holiday - we know we couldn't make it out of bed in time to see everyone leave for work this morning.  WHEW!  Let's see, we rolled out about noon (early for us) and were out of the double-wide by about 2pm or so.  Even though it's a holiday, the check cashing store was open and we had a county check from last Friday, so we figured we'd cash it to have a little walking around money.  No problem there, and of course we get the preferred customer rate of only an 8% fee since we've never stiffed them - yet.

Next we hit the pharamacy to see if they'd "advance" us a few pills,  even though our prescription hadn't come through yet from the free clinic.  They wouldn't - assholes!  It's not like we wanted Heroin - just a few Vicodin to get us through the day.   Clearly they aren't "health givers."   We'll just have to self medicate with Coors Light at Monday Night Football.  We were planning to do that anyway, but now it'll be our primary form of "treatment."

Speaking of Monday Night Football, we headed over to the Indian Casino since the beer there is cheap and the buffet is even cheaper.  Where else can you get a pitcher of Coors Light and all-you-can-eat saturated fat for under $15 bucks!  Besides, our friends showed up and we made some clever bets on the game, so the pitchers were all on them.  Look, we consider it a good night when we can make it home in our own car and not a Palm Springs Police cruiser.  Tonight was a good night, but tomorrow is Tuesday, so...
