WHAT'S THE USE OF HAPPINESS? IT CAN'T BUY YOU MONEY!

IT'S FRIDAY! - and not a moment too soon if you ask us!  It seems like we've been waiting almost a week since the last one rolled around.   We were up and rolling early this morning around 11am because we had a busy day ahead (and our new neighbors were taking the wheels off of their house with an air wrench!).  Anyway, this is the last day we'll be in town for about a week since tomorrow we head to Cabo San Lucas for a little R & R.   We think of today as "Mexico Eve," so that sounds like a celebration, right?

But before we could even pour a fresh beer on our Cheerios there was a knock on our trailer door.  It was our bail bondsman gently reminding us of our obligation to return for a court appearance on some trumped up drunk & disorderly charges in a few weeks.   He seemed satisfied we'd return when we reminded him that we entered a drawing at the mall for a free three course Thanksgiving dinner for two at Marie Callander's and we need to be present to win.  We've never "skipped" on him before - guess he was just nervous with all the wheel activity going on around our double-wide.   Besides, we pointed out that he could keep tabs on us by checking this website everyday.

Speaking of this website and our daily postings (we were), we plan on keeping you all informed daily during our Mexican adventure.  There could be some technical issues however, that could delay (or prevent) our ramblings from appearing in a timely manner.  Besides the potential electronic issues (wrong plugs/wrong sockets - hmmm sounds like a GREAT title for a porn film), there could be issues getting a good wireless signal from a Mexican jail, or we could end up trading our laptop computer for a kew kilos of..... Look, all we're saying is that we plan on posting daily, but stuff could happen.  Keep checking and we'll see ya on the other side...

We made sure our bondsman knew we'd be back.          We stopped by the trailer park office & paid the space rent.

Our bartender showed us how to drink in Mexico!                       Kevin practiced, but says he'll need a lot more work.
