THE INDIANS SAY PHOTOGRAPHY STEALS YOUR SOUL - BUT WE'RE WILLING TO RISK IT!
You all already know how we feel about Tuesdays, so we'll skip the rhetoric, but today was a a little better than than the average day after Monday. First, it started with an ominous pounding on our trailer door - usually not a good sign. In this case however, we were wise to get up and answer the door instead of our usual screaming of threats about having a gun, etc. It was our bail bondsman returning a portion of our last bond since the pimping and pandering charges (what the Hell is pandering?) against us were dropped. And we still had some money left over from Friday's county check too!
With all this cash (and our bond was returned in cash - it's the best way to do this kind of business) we knew exactly what to do. We caught the #21 bus to the fabric store and loaded up on plaids and calico prints. On the way home we made a few calls and one of our "labor contractors" had a seamstress waiting when we arrived. She even had pretty decent ID so we weren't worried about the Border Patrol raiding our trailer again. Here's the plan folks - we're makin' clothes for Beenie Babies to sell on EBay. Just think, you'll be able to to say you knew us when.
But sucess takes hard work, and after cranking out several outfits, Kevin moved the photo equipment from our bedroom (wait till you see that website!) to the kitchen and shot pictures to post on EBay. With the day nearing an end we all headed off to celebrate our future good fortune. Even our "day hire" came with us to party, although we couldn't understand a word she said since we don't speak Spanish, but she still seemed to be having a good time and certainly drank a lot of tequila. When the evening came to a close it was late and she rode home with us, since riding the bus after dark - especially to the border - is pretty dangerous. Anyway, when we got to the trailer she seemed suddenly VERY interested in the photo equipment. Hey, we said at the beginning it was pretty good day, right? And tomorrow is Wednesday - Humpday - can it get any better...

YEP! Here's where we thought of the whole idea! Two women sewing? Kevin wants to be a Mormon.

No expense spared for a night of celebration! At no time does our bartender's hands leave his arms!
