Not everyday goes like you'd imagine.  Actually, in our life, no day goes like anyone would imagine - and today was no different.  We were up bright and early and preparing breakfast easily by 11a.m.  Since we try to eat healthy and follow the food pyramid (it's FDA approved!) Stacy was looking to get two servings of grain in one bowl.  She had her cereal all poured and was opening a bottle of beer (HEY! it's grain product, ok!) with her teeth (like always) and CRACK! - two of her front teeth splitered like a skateboarder crashing through a redwood fence.

Fortunately we have free medical and dental provided by the county since we registered under the "no child left behind" program.  I know that technically we're not chronologically "children," but mentally?  Besides, we paid taxes once (when we had a job) so why shouldn't we get something back from the government.  Anyway,  Stacy headed over to the Free Clinic where they whipped her right into a chair and went to work.  They pulled one tooth and put a silver cap on the other.  In our opinion - pretty damn good work for the price.

So, today did not turn out like we imagined.  We thought we'd be standing in line most of the day to get the free cheese and butter they give away on Tuesdays, but instead Stacy got a free dental makeover.  And since she was in the clinic, we didn't have to stand in line to get the surplus USDA dairy products  - they just gave 'em too us!  You know, sometimes we think we are just blessed - that we have a guardian angel looking out for us.   Tonight is Hump Day Eve, so that means tomorrow is Wednesday and that means we're almost halfway through the week.  Wonder what tomorrow will bring...
