IF BARBIE IS SO POPULAR - THEN WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BUY HER FRIENDS?
MONDAY! You all know what that means. MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL! We don't care who plays, (unless it's the Raiders), we don't care who wins (unless it's the Raiders), but we do care about beer & nachos! Look, watching football is all about the beer and the food - it's not about the game (unless it's the Raiders). There's a secondary issue however, CHEAP beer and food - so we always head to the Indian casino because there's football and there's cheap beer and food! And if we're anything, we're CHEAP!
Living in Palm Springs (even if it is in a trailer park) makes finding a an Indian casino easy. We headed over to the nearest one - which is only a few blocks from our double-wide - and settled in for a what we thought would be a quiet (yet drunk) evening. Well, it turned out to be a drunk evening, but anything from quiet. It seems that word has spread about us trying to sign up for a monthly check from the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Our claim was denied, but it only figures that the same tribe where we claimed to be chiefs would be the same one that owns the casino.
We got our $5 dollar pitchers and we got our $5 dollar buffet, but it wasn't pleasant. The service was GREAT, but the stares from the patrons sent us running for cover. We would have run for the doors except, just when we were getting ready to bolt, our bookie arrived on the scene with our payoff for the Sunday Raider game. He also gave us a few tabs to collect and let's just say the stares turned to....well, they just turned. We ended the night with dignity (and some extra credit for upcoming games from our bookie) and exited the casino without physical incident. Tomorrow is Tuesday (Hump Day Eve) so who knows what will happen - but it most likely will involve guns, drugs, money or a lawsuit...

Newspapaers don't lie - EAT YOUR HEART OUT! Stacy was feeling pretty good about Monday Night Football.

Service was GREAT - Everything else was headed downhill! Nachos & Beer - Can it get any better?
