THE EARLY BIRD MAY GET THE WORM - BUT THE SECOND MOUSE GETS THE CHEESE IN THE TRAP!

There was time in our lives when we got out of bed before lunch, we ate well balanced meals three times a day and we went to church every Sunday (ok, we're lying about the church part, but the other two are sorta true).  Anyway, that time in our lives is long gone.  We haven't seen the sun rise in over a year (except when we're still up), we generally eat healthy food but it ain't at 8am, noon and 6pm., and church...well, enough said on that subject already.

Saturday was just a blurrrrrrrrrrrr of, of, of........it was a blur!  We remember getting up, we remember driving with our friends Guy & Cary to somewhere in Desert Hot Springs and then the next thing we remember is going to bed as the sun was rising.  We know we had allot of fun because there are plenty of picures in our camera with us smiling, but as far as details go.......well, even Guy & Cary aren't exactly sure of the specifics.  Lets just say it was one of those "lost" days.  We didn't commit any felonies (that we know of), the car doesn't have any new dents or scatches and everyone appears to have ended up with the same number of working body parts that they started the day with. We consider that a success!

Our question is - why didn't we always live this way?  It's so much easier and less stressful to be irresponsible, live in an aluminum double-wide and only have to worry about when the check and food stamps will come in the mail.  Guy and Cary are considering this as a lifestyle change too.   In the meantime, the best we can all do is crack open another 30 pack and try to reconstruct the events of the day, but Sunday is football day, so we'll be having a tailgate party in our carport and the whole trailer park is invited.   The details will posted here - assuming we can remember them...

Guy & Cary in back of our mobile home at the trailer park.    It's no wonder we get good service at restaurants!

We're all smiling - proof we had a good time!                                  This is exactly why Kevin never got his G.E.D.
