Today is a "Food Day."  Why?  Because it's the start of the NFL Football season tonight - so that gives us (and every other football fan) the right to eat junk food all day!  NOT KIDDING - Even Breakfast!  As a matter of fact, we were out of bed early (before lunch) because we couldn't wait to tuck into our breakfast "on a stick."  What a treat!  It's a sausage on a popsicle stick wrapped in a pancake.  They come frozen, you pop them in the microwave for 60 seconds and let us just say that they are just as good (if not better) than anything you could get off of the dollar menu for breakfast at Taco Bell.

With breakfast out of the way we were off to Walmart to stock up on food for the game, which started at 5pm PST ("PST" means Pacific Standard Time for all of our friends working on their GED's).  In the parking lot Stacy spied some guy in a pickup truck (even Kevin liked the truck) that made her go "ga-ga!"  He went into the store walking that "walk."  You all know what we're talking about.  Anyway, Stacy wrote some annonymous gushy love note on his windshield with her lipstick.  What she didn't know until it was too late, is that there are security cameras in the parking lot.  Before we had finished shopping he'd found his truck, complained to the store management and they hunted her down like a rabbit in a carrot patch.  We had to pay to get his truck washed, which meant less money for beer and chips, but we still had enough left over for a 30 pack and 4 bags of Doritos, so all was not lost.

Back home it was time to make some HOT (and we mean hot) wings!  Let's just say that adding Habenero Tabassco sauce to Larry's Red Hot Wing sauce causes some major biological reactions when you eat it.   For those of you that are concerned, the doctor says that Kevin should make a full recovery, won't be able to talk for a few days while his throat heals (good news) and to ignore the screaming whenever he goes to use the toilet (which will be often).  Anyway, it was a great start to the football season, and Kevin didn't seem to mind waiting until the game was over to go to the emergency room.  Tomorrow is FRIDAY, so with any luck we'll be partying it up in downtown Palm Springs - trust us, you won't want to miss it...
