ITS LABOR DAY! - BUT WHERE ARE THE PREGNANT WOMEN?

AHHHHHHH!  It's Monday - Labor Day - A HOLIDAY!  We don't have to to go to work!  Oh yeah, that's right, we don't have jobs - we just get weekly checks from the County (along with the....ah.....er.....food stamps).  Well, since we don't have jobs, (currently we are "transitionally unemployed" - lets be politically correct here!) that makes it even easier to not go to work, right?  And better yet, since we don't work, we're not all stressed about what we'll have to do tomorrow to catch up at our jobs for taking a day off.  Look, aside from society's harsh judgement (people with jobs can be soooooo cruel!) about people like us that use their public assistance checks to buy beer and pay their spa bills, it's not a bad life!

Anyway, Labor Day is the day for sales, so we headed to the Mall for bargains!  Since it was only 117 degrees outside we thought it would be pleasant to ride the bus instead of taking our car.  Besides, you meet the nicest people on public buses - particularly in the middle of the day in the desert.  As it turns out, nobody on the bus was drunk (we were a bit tipsy, but only one "six-pack tipsy" so that doesn't count), nobody vomited and nobody tried to give us newsprint copies of religious propaganda, so it was well worth the 50 cents!  And besides, it only took us 45 minutes to get to the Mall which is almost 3 miles away!

At the Mall the first stop was Lane Bryant.   Not for Stacy - FOR KEVIN!  Since he lifts weights everyday in the gym ("...pump you up!") so he has "man boobs."  No big deal, but he figured that he could get a bra and that would add some support (and save $$$ since then he wouldn't need a breast lift).  The purchase wasn't going too good to begin with, and then when he insisted on a nursing bra we were asked to leave.  So much for their motto about "Fashion for the Modern Woman!"   Kevin will NEVER shop for his lingerie there again!   After a quick stop at the Food Court (how can it be a court - there's no judge!) we used the transfers we found on the ground when we got off the bus and headed home FREE OF CHARGE!  Is this a great country, or what?  Anyway, it's a holiday, so we'll be out celebrating tonight, but tomorrow is Toos-day and that's our traditional mid-week party night, so you'll have to check back to see what happened...

Why ride in a $5,000 car? Why not a $100,000 bus!                  It went fine until Kevin requested a nursing bra!

FYI - Stacy is the one with a face.                                      Who would have thought it was right here in our Mall?
