TGIF! WE'RE NOT SURE WHAT THAT MEANS - BUT ITS FUN TO YELL IT.

FRIDAY - and just in time!  IT LABOR DAY WEEKEND FOLKS!  Okay, what's wrong with that concept?  We all get three days off from work in honor of labor?  Sorta backwards, isn't it?  Shouldn't everybody (except us) work extra hard in honor of labor?  It's very confusing to us since we've never really held down a job for too long.   Besides, it's probably just another invented Hallmark holiday anyway.  Well we're not buying any cards so get over it!

In spite of it being Friday, Kevin had to teach at the college this morning and the results were suprisingly not too bad.  Imagine a full classroom of students listening to Kevin lecture on....ah.....hmmmm........not sure what he was lecturing on, but he did get through the class (for once) without threatening any students and without any students threatening him. THIS IS A FIRST!  And, because of his stellar performance he immediately went to the Dean and asked for a pay raise - which of course was summarily rejected on the spot with lots of laughter, but it was worth a try, right?

Immediately after class we hit the party circuit in Palm Springs.  It was noon afterall!  Gourmet lunch at Panda Express (Schezwan Chicken - YEAH BABY!), afternoon cocktails at the Spa Hotel, dinner at a Cathedral City Sprorts Bar (GO RAIDERS!) and finally - you guessed it - party at the Village Pub.  Some friends of ours that we haven't offended (yet) showed up and we used their credit card to buy beer, we swiped some chicken wings off of some other unsuspecting couple's plate (Stacy created the diversion, but she didn't get any beads - this ain't New Orleans) and we made it home to safely live another day.  Speaking of another day, that would be Saturday, so we'll do it all over again, only this time we're gonna eat and drink...

Kevin shaping eager minds - until he's caught at it!                          After class students were dropping like flies.

We lifted her credit card when talk turned to her shoes!               They used to be our frineds - but time will tell!
