EDUCATED FAR BEYOND OUR INTELLIGENCE!
WHAT AN EXCITING DAY! So much happened today we can hardly tell it all to you (and some of it we can't tell because of pending litigation - advice of counsel - you understand!) First (and foremost!) we joined a hotel. HUH? No, actually it's a resort just a few blocks from our house and for a modest fee (yeah right) we can use the exercise facilities, spa and recreation areas. We'd hoped to get use of a hotel room for an hour here and there, but no dice). Anyway, as soon as we joined we realized what a mistake it was (since now we'd have to actually workout and exercise and go to Pilates and stuff) so we feigned food poisoning and said we had to leave. Outside we promised each other that we'd go tomorrow and exercise, but we're well known for breaking promises so a precaution we stopped payment on the check.
Next, there was the issue of the heat index here in Palm Springs. The official high temperature today was 118 degrees. Now, to all of you that say, "...yeah, but it's a dry heat," we say, SO IS A GOD DAMN CONVECTION OVEN! Look, 118 is hot whether its wet or dry. Face it - our swimming pool water was over 100 by noon! It was so hot the trees were looking for dogs! Hmmmmm, why do we live here again? Oh yeah, the weather.
Finally, it was back to school for Kevin today. Somehow, in spite of all of the complaints and lawsuits, the local College signed him for the Fall semester to teach two classes again. Okay, so here's the shocker! If you read this website regualrly, and you read the comments posted by others, then you know about Stephanie and all her comments. Well she's in one of Kevin's classes! Wonder what her grade is gonna be (veiled threat!). Tomorrow is Thursday, which we like to call "Friday Eve," so there will be celebrations undoubtedly - stay tuned...
One picture only today - but it's worth a thousand words! - enough said?
