NOT EVERYDAY IS EXCITING - BUT THEY DEFINITELY ARE INTERESTING!

After the excitement of shopping at Walmart last night (Saturday night!) it's hard to follow up with another jaw dropping day - but you know what? - our lives are never boring and they definitly are always interesting.  Today is Sunday, so of course we were up early for church.  Ok, we weren't up early and we didn't go to church, but we did watch a show on the The Learning Channel after lunch on devil worshipping - does that count?  Besides, we're looking for a new religion anyway since WICCA kicked us out after we didn't pay for our broomsticks.

Ok, enough religious talk.  We know the safe way to not offend anyone is to never talk religion or politics -sooooo, you won't hear any more chatter from us about how Kevin REALLY enjoyed being an alter boy at his Catholic church when he was a kid.  Yea, the settlement money from the church came in handy to get some new parts for our Harley, but beyond that, the whole experience scarred him for life.  If you know him, you know what we're talking about, so let's just leave it at that!

Later in the day we went to a friend of our's six year old's birthday party.  Actually, she's one of our favorite bartenders (our friend - not the six year old), and since she's one of the few locally that will still serve us, we figured we'd better go or risk getting cutoff.  The party went just fine, even though there were a bunch of kids there, but aside from that it was fun sitting in 115 degree heat eating ice cream birthday cake and tuna casserole.   When the day came to a close we counted it in the "success" column for three reasons: 1. We weren't arrested; 2. No bill collectors found us; and, 3. Because we went to the party, we can keep drinking at least at one local place!  See ya tomorrow...

Julie at work & at play (we love the "play" part!)                            Julie's daughter - the six year old of the day!

At 115 degrees how could you not wanna eat?        Kevin had to stay at at least 25 ft away - restraining order!

These people are absolutely off their rocker!  They both need to be commited.  We will have to come out there to observe this type of behavior.  It is not normal for a human being to be acting like this, but we still do love 'em!

Well, class starts this week. Are we taking bets on Kevin's relative sobriety, considering that the classes start after, well, noon?
