What if we won the Lotto?   Just think of all the beer we could buy with $50 million dollars!   Too bad in the meantime we have to get by with the measley checks that come in the mail on Fridays and scam people at local bars to get free drinks.  Sure it's fun to cheat drunks and tourists out of their money, but we've been at this for years now and it sure would be nice not to have to ask the bartender if they'll cash a check from the county for beer.  We could get jobs, but we tried that once and let's just say the outcome was not what we or our employers expected.

Today was a "personal" day for both of us.  Stacy got some smelly stuff at Walgreens to cure her toenail fungus and she also got a box of #100 blond to touch up Kevin's roots.  It was like a day at the spa - only different!   We didn't have any cucumbers to put on our eyes, we don't like green tea, and we don't have any fluffy robes to wear.  Otherwise, it was EXACTLY like a $250 trip to the spa.   Then we laid by the pool and improved our minds by reading important academic journals. 

As the sun started to set we headed off downtown for a night at one of our favorite hangouts.  That went okay until they realized that it wasn't Friday and we didn't have any money to pay for the beer or food we ordered.  Hey, it's not our fault that it's only Tuesday and we're outta cash.  We needed to get personal hygene items, some parts for the Harley and more lotto tickets.   Besides, they can read a calendar too!  They should know better than to serve us when it's not "check day!"  There has to be some sort of seller responsibilty here.  We're just victims in a giant capitalist cabal - but admit it - it is fun sometimes to role play as the victim, isn't it....
