THE JOURNEY OF 11,000 MILES BEGINS WITH A SINGLE ATM ADVANCE!
PALM SPINGS, CALIFORNIA BABY! - WE'RE HOME! It was a long day - over 500 miles from Sacramento to Palm Springs - but we made it. DON'T DESPAIR! We have no intention to stop posting daily! Hundreds (not kidding!) of people are following our sad lives online and now that we're home, we have no intention of shutting down the site, or living normal lives. We get in fights with the garbage men, we argue with our mailman and we get thrown out of bars and strip clubs (regularly) here at home too! Everyday you can expect to see a post about all the issues that seem to plauge our attempts at just getting through the day - and trust us - at home it's even more bizzare than on the road!
OH! BIG NEWS! The entire trip around the United States was documented by us and will be released as a book around Christmas. It will be titled "Riding 4 Beer," (what else?) and will be available on this website, on Amazon, at your local bookstore and at selected motorcycle shops. If you think the stuff you read here is funny, you have to get book to find out the story behind the story. It truly is stranger than truth! Otherwise, you can just keep reading the postings here, get you your daily chuckle at our sorry lives, but never get a behind the scenes peek! Ok - Enough blatent commercialism for now.
We got home to Palm Springs and - you're not gonna believe this! - IT WAS RAINING! Ok, it only rains six days a year here and only 1/2 an inch a year and when we get home it's raining! The one day we didn't check Doppler Radar and it rains in the Southern California Desert. The other big surprise is that we went out to our favorite local pub for dinner and our credit card was declined. It seems that our Aunt Jackie in Sacramento lifted the number while we sleeping and charged it up to the limit at Frederick's of Hollywood in the Mall. We guess we deserve it after all the charges we've made on our friend's cards, but.....come on!......she's our aunt! Tomorrow, we'll be riding.....NOWWHERE....but we'll still post and you won't believe what we have planned for our homecoming.

SoCal Baby! You gotta love it! WHAT AN EXIT! - 11,000 MILES AND WE MADE IT!

Here's the route - it's FINAL! In the garage - Home at last!
