"THE HEART OF ROCK & ROLL IS IN CLEVELAND..."

The day started pretty much as most days have on this trip.  We checked the Doppler Radar, saw the "green blobs" moving towards us, there was knock at the door and we bailed out the bathroom window.  Nothing out of the ordinary, just another day on the road.  We hit the highway west and cruised almost immediately into Pennsylvania, and for the most of the day, rode on U.S. Highway 6 - which Cycle World Magazine says is one of the most beautiful motorcycle rides in America.  Let's just say the editors at Cycle World need to get out more often because it is definitely not even in the top 100!

We cruised into Ohio just as the Doppler green blob and our bike merged.  The rain hit us on the interstate (while slowed for construction!) and gosh - fortunately we had our rainsuits, which are great for draining all the rain to the inside.  As we struggled west; wet, tired and hungry, we kept stopping at motels but they were either "booked" or wanted hundreds of dollars for the night.  We finally figured out that our reputation is now preceding us.

Finally, in a suburb of Cleveland, we found a Super 8 that had been without phone service all day and let us have a room for $59.  We were here too late to hit the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, but it's first on the list for tomorrow. We figure that the Blues Museum in Mississippi wouldn't have contacted them and the Baseball Hall of Fame talks to nobody but their lawyers, so we have a chance of getting in.  We also have other plans tomorrow after the Roll & Roll Hall of fame to visit...

Stacy eating lunch at the Wellsboro, PA Diner!                                       U.S. Highway 6 is absolutely GORGEOUS!

Along Highway 6 we saw GREAT real estate deals!     We LOVE Ohio! - Why don't they have these in California?

You jack asses, Sober up before you ride! - I told you to take the west side of the little Grand Canyon, no commercialism just a great view. And did you think about stopping at the ZIPPO LiGHTER FACTORY?    NOOOOOO!  I Guess Not!  Also, You should of stopped at the Kinsu Dam, real nice view, You don't remember me, but I'm the bald headed guy outside of the Wellsboro Diner - you should of eaten the hot roast beef sandwhich - awsome...put some gravey on those fries! It seems to me that you guys are in a hurry, SLOW DOWN!!!! TOO MUCH TO SEE here in Pennsylvania!  You gotta check out the local bars up and down the LITTLE GRAND CANYON, you can get a burger (1/2 lb) real cheap.

Seriously, have a safe trip, keep the rubber on the road and God Bless!!!!!!
